Since graduation alot has happened and many lessons have been learned! I'm sure Linda Wilson King and Traci Zody and several others can attest to that for me! But I am truly blessed with two healthy young boys and a rewarding career as a hospice nurse (I have worn many hats prior to reaching this point in my life!) I absolutely LOVE living in Charleston and my sons do as well! I visit Columbia from time to time to see family but have no desire to ever live their again!!!!! High school now as I look back on it was probably one of the highlights in my life! It was a blast! Everytime I think of high school Fast Times at Ridgemont High (the movie of course) pops in my head!!!
I have multiple funny stories......being a cheerleader with Linda and Tammy (aka "Beanie"), hanging out with Cindy, Linda and Tammy Cobb, all the Lisa's (Melton, Laird, Davis), Greg Rhodes' pool parties, Len Fulmer scraping my face off the pavement (that was middle school). Jeff Farmer trying his best to help me pass Algebra I with absolutely no luck - way over my head that's why he's a pilot and I'm a nurse!!! Michael Kennley always cutting up with me on the way to away games on the bus and always making me laugh!!! Hanging out at Debbie Fitts grandmother's pool. Going home with Jill Holland on the bus so I could hang out the Patty, Danny, Keith and Kevin. Danny Rouse and his mom's science class (I always loved Mrs. Rouse). I could go on forever!!! Damon Edgar and all the KISS songs he would sing to me during our phone conversations. Dean Hancock and his sweet personality. WOW----talking about all of this makes me really feel old!! But just like fine wine.....we all get better with time!! Always remember...life is not about how many breaths you take....but the moments that take your breath away!!!!!
